White Paper Study

DeepStar Core

22171 Semipermanent Ocean Bottom Seismic Node for CCS monitoring

Developing the semi-permanent ocean bottom seismic node whose seabed life-time is >10years for CCS monitoring, based on more than 20 years experience of OBN with proven multi-years seabed observation technology and ROV/AUV expertise.

White Paper Study – Product Development and Sensors and Wi-Fi Integration

22172 Wave Energy Harvesting System Utilizing PVDF Piezoelectric Film

By utilizing piezoelectric effect, harvest energy from wave force on offshore oil and gas rigs.  Polyvinylidene Fluoride(PVDF) manufactured by Kureha corporation has a piezoelectric effect and can convert wave force to electric charge.  Carbon nanotube (CNT) films developed by Wootz have high surface area and can collect large amounts of electrons as electrodes.  Sheets made from PVDF and CNT films are installed underwater and generate electricity.

White Paper Study and first-generation scale product
